HRTailor's monthly HR service functions as your company's outsourced HR department. It covers: employee onboarding (documentation, HRMS profile creation, induction coordination), grievance management, HR policy implementation, attendance and leave tracking through a cloud HRMS platform, expense management, employee query handling, monthly payroll processing, and statutory compliance filings (Package 2). You receive a dedicated Online HR Manager supported by a team of 5 to 6 HR Executives, available Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm IST. All services are delivered online — no physical site visits. Services not included in standard packages (available as add-ons): Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, POSH ICC setup, Employee Engagement, and Performance Management.

What is the pricing for HRTailor's monthly HR solutions?

Package 1 (Without Compliance): INR 10,000/month for up to 15 employees, plus INR 400 per employee per month above 15. + 18% GST.

Package 2 (With Compliance): INR 12,500/month for up to 15 employees, plus INR 500 per employee per month above 15. + 18% GST. Includes PF, ESIC, PT, LWF challan filing and TDS processing.

Both packages require a 6-month minimum commitment with 3 months advance billing. HRMS cloud software is included in both packages. A one-time HR Setup fee of INR 30,000 to INR 50,000 + GST applies before the monthly service begins.

How is payroll handled if we have employees in multiple states?

HRTailor processes payroll through a cloud HRMS platform that accommodates multi-state employee configurations. Each state has its own Professional Tax slab structure, and LWF deductions also vary by state. HRTailor's payroll workflow maps each employee's state of employment, applies the correct PT and LWF deductions, and generates payslips accordingly. For PF and ESIC, rates are uniform across India but challan filings are tied to your registered establishment code, set up correctly during the HR Setup phase. For example, employees in Maharashtra and Karnataka attract PT deductions, while Delhi employees do not — your payroll run reflects all of this accurately. Your HR Manager handles payroll inputs, calculations, and payslip generation. You receive the final payroll register for approval before disbursement.

What compliance statutes do you cover in the With Compliance package?

Package 2 (With Compliance) covers processing and filing of statutory compliance challans under:

Provident Fund (PF) under the Employees' Provident Funds Act, 1952 — for 20+ employee establishments or voluntarily registered companies
ESIC under the ESI Act, 1948 — for 10+ employee establishments where employees earn up to INR 21,000/month gross
Professional Tax (PT) — state-specific; rates and thresholds vary
Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) — state-specific; frequency and amounts vary
TDS on salary under Section 192 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 — processed through HRMS

Note: HRTailor does not handle individual employee income tax return filing. TDS processing covers deduction calculation and challan support only.

How quickly can HRTailor start managing our HR after we sign up?

The monthly HR service cannot begin until HR Setup is complete, because Setup creates the foundational infrastructure the monthly service operates on: your HR policies, salary structure, statutory registrations, and HRMS configuration. HR Setup typically takes 3 to 4 weeks for a company of 15 to 30 employees. Once HR Setup is signed off and your HRMS is live, the monthly HR service begins from the following calendar month. In practice, most clients who sign contracts before the 15th of a month begin monthly HR services by the 1st of the month after setup completion. If you have an urgent payroll need within the next two weeks, discuss this with your HR Manager at onboarding so setup priorities can be adjusted accordingly.
