How we are built

One dedicated HR Manager. A pod of 5–6 Executives. Your full HR function.

Every HRTailor client gets one Online HR Manager as the single point of accountability, plus a pod of 5–6 HR Executives handling the operational depth. You email or call one person; they have the pod handling payroll, attendance, compliance and queries behind the scenes.

This model exists because in-house HR doesn't scale economically below ~150 employees. Hiring a senior HR Manager costs Rs.8-15 LPA plus benefits, software and admin overhead. For a 30-person startup that's 25-50% of the founder's salary budget — just for HR. Outsourcing flips it: you get the same seniority and depth at a tenth of the cost, with a real human you can call, not a chatbot.

Our HR Managers average 8-12 years of in-house HR experience across IT, manufacturing, retail and services. Our Executives have processed payroll, statutory filings and audits for 200+ companies across India.

That accumulated context is what shows up when a client asks "Can we hire on stipend?", "What does Maharashtra PT look like above 7,500/month?", or "Our auditor is asking for the past three years of PF challans — can you pull them?" These questions need someone who has seen the answer before, not someone Googling it for the first time.

Across the team we hold certifications in Labour Law Compliance, POSH, and payroll administration. We stay current on TDS rates, PF/ESIC updates and state Shops & Establishments changes through monthly internal briefings.

How we work

Online-first. Transparent. No site visits.

We deliver everything online — onboarding, payroll, compliance, monthly reviews. No in-person visits, no consultants billing by the hour, no surprise scope creep. You see the price on our pricing calculator before you book a call.

Working hours are 10am to 6pm IST, Monday to Saturday. Urgent matters get a same-day response; routine queries within one business day. Every client gets a private Slack/WhatsApp channel with their HR Manager + pod.

Built by founders who've hired, fired, and complied.

HRTailor is run by Abhijit Divekar and the senior HR leadership team at SKAD Business Solutions. Between us we've built HR systems for our own portfolio companies, navigated DPDP Act compliance, and processed payroll for 200+ Indian SMEs through the parent company, TMS (Team Management Services), which has been in HR services since 1998.

That heritage matters because HR isn't a domain where you can fake experience. Statutory filings, employment contracts, separations done right — these are the things that protect a founder when something goes wrong. We've seen what goes wrong, and we know how to keep it from going wrong on your watch.
