Compliance Service | Prevention of Sexual Harassment

The Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, in effect since April 9, 2013, mandates organizations to establish an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for addressing sexual harassment complaints. The ICC, comprising at least 50% women with a female Presiding Officer, ensures compliance with the Act. The Act grants women employees POSH Compliance Rights, enabling them to file confidential complaints, be represented by a chosen lawyer or support person, and have a personal hearing with the ICC.
